20 Seconds of Insane Courage.

Thank goodness for Dance Labs. Right?
I walked into the room and penetrated the thick wall of body oder that surrounded me as I set my purse down and scanned the room. That's when I spotted him (I think he spotted me too). Ignore him Rachael, let him come to you. I quickly averted my eyes and found Cameron standing around with a couple other dance students. The night continued on and then, it happened. He said hello. I smiled and said hello back. He complimented my Despicable Me shirt (I tried my hardest not to blush). We danced once. It was only a few seconds, but I cherished those seconds dearly.
When the night ended, I tried my hardest to leave around the same time as him but yet, I had somehow managed to leave the dance early. On my way back, I heard a faint whistling. Don't look, you already know who it is. A few minutes later, I heard him say "Is it really that slippery?"
Heart. Skipping. Several. Beats
"I miss the ice skating rink, I'm getting some good practice."
>Insert me making a fool of myself.<
What I say before we part ways:
"Hey, do you want my Skittles? I don't really eat them."
What my heart is saying before we part ways:
"Hey, can we just be really good friends now?"

He smiled. Gosh, I love that smile.

My apologies for this terribly written post. My hearts in tangles and my mind is yelling, "Rachael, go to bed!"

I just need 20 seconds of insane courage, then maybe I'll get a handle on this....whatever it is.
